When the Sun Goes Down is a song written by Rick Vito and Billy Burnette and recorded by them with Fleetwood Mac for the group's 1990 album Behind the Mask (album).
The song shows Burnette's rockabilly influence and also features cajun-style accordion from Christine McVie.
On the verses Vito sings lead on the first half and Burnette on the second.
It was performed live at some shows on the album's supporting tour.
