The Other One is Bob Welch's third solo album, released in November 1979. It was the first of his solo albums not to feature input from any Fleetwood Mac members. Despite this, it did include a rerecording of his song Future Games which had been the title track of his first album with the group in 1971.
Welch's backing band (see Personnel below) also wrote some of the songs either collectively or individually.
The album peaked at #105 on the US album chart.
