The Derelict is a song written by Dave Walker and recorded by him with Fleetwood Mac for their 1973 album Penguin. It was one of only two songs he recorded and released with the group, the other being a cover of Junior Walker's "(I'm A) Road Runner".
The song is very short and slight being a brief chronicle of having to move from home to home before settling with a partner. It did not feature any bass guitar.
