Songbird is a song written by Christine McVie and performed by her on Fleetwood Mac's 1977 album Rumours.

The song, a wistful piano ballad, wishing a loved one well, closed many of Fleetwood Mac's shows during McVie's times touring with the group although she admitted finding the experience very emotional (a sentiment her ex-husband John McVie shared).

The only other musician to feature on the recording was Lindsey Buckingham.

The song gained a new level of exposure when it featured as the title track of a posthumous compilation of material by Eva Cassidy.
