Soldier of Love is the seventh album by Billy Burnette, released in 1986. It was the second of two albums he released on Curb Records along with Try Me (1985). For this album, Burnette would co-write with country music songwriter David Malloy. Burnette and Malloy would go on to co-write the 1990 Fleetwood Mac song In the Back of My Mind. This was the last solo album Burnette would release before joining Fleetwood Mac in 1987. He would not release another until Coming Home (Billy Burnette album) in 1993.
The cover versions included one of The Beatles 1965 track I've Just Seen a Face.
