Sandy Stewart, born on January 13, 1958 in San Francisco, is a songwriter, singer and keyboardist from Houston, Texas, USA. She is mostly known for her 1984 album Cat Dancer and her association with Stevie Nicks. Stewart and Nicks duetted on the song I Pretend, featured on Cat Dancer.
Her best known composition is Seven Wonders which, with a small lyrical amendment from Nicks, featured on Fleetwood Mac's 1987 album Tango in the Night and released as the album's second single.
Prior to and subsequent to this, Stewart was featured as a co-writer and musician (keyboards/backing vocals) on several of Nicks' songs, most notably on The Wild Heart (1983) where she also posed with backing vocalists Sharon Celani and Lori Perry for the album cover photos.
