Rock a Little is the third solo album by Stevie Nicks, released on November 18th 1985. It spawned a major hits in Talk to Me, penned by songwriter Chas Sandford, and the opening track I Can't Wait and smaller hits in Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, which became a live favourite, and Imperial Hotel. The latter was co-composed by and featured guitar work from Nicks' future Fleetwood Mac colleague Mike Campbell.
Nicks collaborated heavily on the songwriting with the musicians and producers featured on the album. Only three songs are written entirely by Nicks: the title track, I Sing For the Things and No Spoken Word.
The album peaked at #12 on Billboard's album chart reaching the higher positions of #11 in Canada and #5 in Australia.
