Richard Charles Dashut, born September 19th 1951, is a record producer who produced several Fleetwood Mac albums

His association with the group began when he acted as second engineer on the Buckingham Nicks album in 1973. From here he would go on to have co-production credits on all Fleetwood Mac material released 1976-87 and all Lindsey Buckingham solo material up till 1992. He also received co-writing credit on several of Buckingham's songs including Oh Diane and Family Man.

He returned briefly to the Fleetwood Mac camp when he co-produced 11 out of the 13 tracks on Time (1995), the exceptions being Blow by Blow and These Strange Times.
