Oh Daddy is a song written by Christine McVie and performed by her with Fleetwood Mac on their 1977 album Rumours. Like earlier Mac songs, The Ghost and Crystal, it features McVie creating flute sounds with the use of a Mellotron synthesiser.
McVie claimed the song was written for Mick Fleetwood in the shoes of his wife Jenny (their marriage was breaking up at the time) but other biographers have said it was actually for lighting director Curry Grant whom she was dating at the time.
The song was played regularly in concert until 1980 and resurfaced briefly in 1997. Other than I Don't Want To Know, which the group have never performed live, it has had probably less live exposure than any other song on the album.
