Mike Vernon, born Michael William Hugh Vernon on November 25th 1944, is an English studio owner and record producer. With his business partner Hugh Slaven he founded Blue Horizon the label which released all Fleetwood Mac's singles up to Albatross and albums up to the compilation Pious Bird of Good Omen.
He also produced the first four albums for Chicken Shack.
In later years, Vernon wrote liner notes for reissues of the work he had produced for both bands.
