Mick Taylor, born Michael Kevin Taylor on January 17th 1949, is an English rock guitarist and occasional singer and songwriter.
He first came to attention as a member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers when he played on their 1968 album Crusade which also featured John McVie on bass. He and McVie would work together again on the 1981-82 Bluesbreakers reunion tour and the 1992 album John McVie's "Gotta Band" with Lola Thomas.
His most famous work was as a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969-74. He played on four of their albums and hits he featured on include Brown Sugar, Tumbling Dice, Angie and It's Only Rock n Roll (But I Like It). He guested with the Stones on their fiftieth anniversary tour in 2013 and at some subsequent gigs.
