Love is Dangerous is a song written by Rick Vito and Stevie Nicks and recorded by them with Fleetwood Mac for the band's 1990 album Behind the Mask. The song is sung as a duet between Vito and Nicks featuring brief vocal solos by both of them. A driving rock number, also highlighting the band's namesake rhythm section, it failed to register on the Billboard Hot 100 but peaked at #7 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. It reached #70 in Canada.
The song was performed live on the Behind the Mask tour. It later appeared on the digital streaming edition of the compilation 50 Years - Don't Stop in 2018.
Rick Vito would record a rewritten version of the song for his 2001 album Crazy Cool. This had more of a gospel feel and was sung in a major key compared to the original's minor setting. The lyric was significantly reduced with the second half of the first verse serving as a refrain and the middle eight missing completely.
