Heroes Are Hard to Find is the ninth studio album by Fleetwood Mac, released on September 13th, 1974. It was their last to feature singer/songwriter/guitarist Bob Welch who left the group shortly afterwards. It was also the first album the band released after relocating from their native England to the United States.. The only subsequent album not feature Stevie Nicks was Time (1995).
The title track was released as a single but did not chart.
The song Bad Loser is reportedly about the group's manager Clifford Davis whom they had fired after he put a different group of musicians out on tour under the Fleetwood Mac name.
