Gold Dust Woman is a song written by Stevie Nicks and recorded by her with Fleetwood Mac as the final track on their 1977 album Rumours.
Nicks later admitted that 'gold dust' was a metaphor here for cocaine. She said "Gold Dust Woman was my kind of symbolic look at somebody going through a bad relationship, doing a lot of drugs, and trying to make it. Trying to live. Trying to get through it."
In 1999, Nicks joined her friend Sheryl Crow onstage in Central Park, New York City for a live rendition of the song which was included on Crow's Live from Central Park album.
