Fleetwood Mac Wiki

Eyes of the World is a song written by Lindsey Buckingham and recorded by him with Fleetwood Mac for their 1982 album Mirage.

Melodically the opening theme of the song echoes Canon and Gigue for 3 violins and basso continuo by Johann Pachelbel (1653-1706) commonly known as Pachelbel's Canon. The second verse echoes the nursery rhyme Monday's child is fair of face.

The song was performed live by the group on the accompanying tour and again on the Say You Will tour of 2003-04.
