Dreams is a song written by Stevie Nicks and recorded by her with Fleetwood Mac on their 1977 album Rumours. Released as the second single from the album, it went to No 1 in the United States and Canada. It also peaked at #24 in the United Kingdom, returning the band to the UK Top 30 after a seven year absence (reissues notwithstanding). The song was written to comfort herself in the wake of her breakup with Lindsey Buckingham.
The song later became a hit for the Corrs - the upshot of this was that Mick Fleetwood guested at one of their shows.
