Blow by Blow is the third song on Time.

It is a song written by Dave Mason, John Cesario and Mark Holden and recorded by Mason with Fleetwood Mac in 1994.

The song, the band's first to feature both Mason and vocalist Bekka Bramlett, made its debut on the various artists compilation Soccer Rocks the Globe, released to coincide with the 1994 UEFA World Cup, played in the USA. The band performed the song at the tournament's launch along with another new song, "Dreamin' the Dream", plus established group standards "The Chain" and "Oh Well".

The song appeared again on the 1995 album Time which proved to be Mason and Bramlett's only album with the group.
