Billy Burnette is the second album by the musician of the same name, released in 1979 seven years after his similarly self-titled debut. It should not be confused with that album or the 1980 album of the same name.
Like his debut, it was produced by the legendary Chips Moman. It was the first of two albums that Burnette released on Polydor Records along with Between Friends.
This was one of two albums where Burnette covered his father and uncle's song Believe What You Say along with Are You With Me Baby (2000).
