Between Friends is the third album by Billy Burnette, released in 1979. It was the second of two albums he released on Polydor Records after Billy Burnette (1979 album).

The song What's A Little Love Between Friends was released as a single and peaked at #76 on Billboard's country chart.

The song Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay was a cover of the 1968 Otis Redding hit. Its co-writer Steve Cropper would go on to co-write four songs with Burnette for his 1985 album Try Me.

The album was dedicated to Billy's father, musician Dorsey Burnette, who had died the same year.
