Bekka & Billy is a 1997 country album released by the duo comprising Bekka Bramlett and Billy Burnette. The pair had met in Fleetwood Mac where they had shared lead vocals with other group members and Burnette had played rhythm guitar. Burnette had already served six years with the group and played on one album (Behind the Mask) when Bramlett joined in 1993. The only Fleetwood Mac album to feature Bramlett was Time (1995). Here she sang solo lead on three tracks including Dreamin' the Dream co-composed with Burnette. The two sang harmony leads on Burnette's other two songs on the album.
Time was not successful and the line-up disbanded shortly afterwards. But Bramlett and Burnette were enjoying their working relationship and stayed together to cut this album.
The duo did not stay together for long but Bramlett sang backing vocals on Burnette's 2000 album Are You With Me Baby.
The track, God Knows I Love You, was co-written by Bramlett's father, Delaney and recorded by her parents, the duo Delaney & Bonnie, for their 1970 album To Bonnie From Delaney.
