A Hard Road is the third album by John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, released February 17th 1967. It was the group's only album to feature Peter Green on guitar as well as being the first album Green had ever featured on. It also marked his first recorded work with the group's original bassist John McVie.
The album featured two songs from Green - The Same Way and an instrumental piece entitled The Supernatural. Green sang lead on the former as well as a cover of You Don't Love Me by Willie Cobbs.
It was shortly after the release of this album that Green insisted drummer Aynsley Dunbar be replaced with his former colleague Mick Fleetwood. This line up released one single Double Trouble b/w It Hurts Me Too before Green and Fleetwood left the Bluesbreakers to form Fleetwood Mac with John McVie following them soon after.
